Baking for our mum's tea

As we are having an 'end of year' Mum's Tea I decided to do some baking with my class. Making Choc Chip cookies was the easiest. I incorporated it in with measurement explaining kilograms and grams. We guessed what things would be measured in grams and what in kg! We also discussed at length 2/3 of a cup. This was very difficult for a lot of them but they managed eventually.

There were 4 groups.  Lots of fun was had and hopefully the mums will be delighted with their homemade biscuits!
