The orals have surpassed my expectation and I have been thrilled at how much the children are learning from each other
Kuhle showed us a wonderful experiment that explained how a vortex works. I was so impressed with her determination as it didn't work at first but she never gave up and eventually everyone watched aghast when she eventually created a vortex. Well persevered, Kuhle

Success achieved!
Jamie also learnt that experiments don't always work out exactly as they should! The first part of it worked perfectly : oil and water don't mix no matter what. The oil always rises to the surface as it lighter than water. Unfortunately the next part was difficult to see as he added too much food colouring but we did see tiny 'bubbles' rise and fall when he added the 'fizzers' |

Connor also had to persevere..... he also didn't get his experiment to work at first but he didn't give up! He explained how a candle needs oxygen to burn and carbon dioxide will make the candle die almost immediately.

Well done to all my budding scientists! |
