As usual,Jamie arrived at school today full of enthusiasm and gave a wonderful oral about his family. He spoke clearly and fluently and by his own admission ...' my mum made me practice ALL night!' Well , as I told him practice makes perfect and he held all our attention for the whole time.
He had us all intrigued as he opened up a HUGE packet and started to tell us his story.....
Jamie comes from a 'big' family ( his words!) His parents are involved in making clothes and he has an older brother called Brady who is also at Eden. His faourite colour is blue.
His favourite food include KFC and McDonalds with Milo and iced tea his favourite drinks! He delighted the class by bringing easter eggs for everyone as these were also part of culinary delights!
He is learning to play the recorded and I was thrilled that he was excited to play a tune for us.....
But he also LOVES to help his dad to braai!
I was so touched when he explained about his holidays.... he has traveled on the Sinfonia which he absolutely loved. They went to Mauritius and Madagascar but he didn't like Madagascar as he said there were so many poor people there which made him sad.
Thank you Jamie for preparing so well for your oral. It was wonderful to learn more about you. Here is to a very happy year......
