Wormery

Keeping up with our planting theme I decided to get my old 'wormery' up and running again. This I did with a lot of enthusiastic little souls from my class. I explained what Red Wrigglers were and how they decomposed all our vegetable peelings. I had some so I showed them how the decomposed vegetables peelings turned into compost. They of course all wanted to touch and feel and there were the usual screeches from some of the girls! We eventually made our wormery and today Dipika was SO good she even remembered vegetable peelings! Well done!
