A celebration of Shakespeare's birthday

We were all so excited when Mrs Regard told us a while back that we were going to be able to dress up as a character from a book to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday. Mrs Regard set the tone .......

and we all followed suit! My class were beautifully turned out and I marvelled at my parent's creativity....

But of course we had to have a girls' photo ......

and the boys .......

We all then went and gathered in the hall where we paraded our attires. 

There was much clapping and dancing and eventually the judges chose four children in Grade 2 R as 'best dressed'. They were...

Dipika, Augustine, Keemiya and Adenika

and the winner was 
 Dipika!

We went back to class where we had a last chance to do a whole class photo shoot!



Before we change and 'Wolly Wonka' handed out sweets to a delighted Grade 2 R class!
