The Aardvark Who Wasn't Sure

After what seemed like a short Easter Break, we arrived back at school with mixed emotions : excited to see the children but sad that we face a 13 week term!

Mel and I have based this term's work on a book called : 

It is a delightful story about a baby Aardvark called Pim who explores her world. As she bumps into many wild animals, we will spend time developing the children's knowledge of each animal and use it  to explore language as well. All very exciting. 

To start the Theme we introduced Aardvarks through a power point. 

Hopefully we will get some good feedback tomorrow from the discussions we had!
