Stories

This week Pim was introduced to a brand new baby BABOON! Therefore I divided my class into 3 troops -each having a strong male baboon as a leader. Josh , Lukas and Augustine made wonderful leaders and taught the rest of their troop how to bark as a warning sign of danger! Loads of fun was had! I awarded beans for individual work and as a group we will count the beans on Monday to see which troop was the eventual winner!

We further explored the world of adjectives and ended the week by producing little stories. Mel and I gave them 6 sets of words : dark, moonlit night : grumpy aardvark: dry, sandy veld: sleepy baboon : tall trees .  We then asked them to choose a partner and write a story using all these words. We we thrilled with the results!
