Voting 2014

What a wonderful day we had at Eden on Tuesday the day before our general election. We thought it important that the children have some basic understanding of what happens in an election so we explained what had to happen. They used their homework folders as ID documents ( those who left their ones at home were not allowed to vote!) Off they went to the polling station ( set up in cubicles in the reading room!)

They stood in a long queue and proceeded  to mark their ballot paper ( they had to vote for their favourite picnic food!)

after opening to count the votes!

And the winner was ............

POPCORN!
